The aim of this course is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge to understand the holistic nature of bidirectional brain-body interactions. It explores how complex brain functions are shaped by the integration of various peripheral signals including sensory, endocrine, and immunological inputs. Additionally, the course examines how the integration of approaches from molecular genetics, molecular and cellular biology, and the study of neuronal networks across different scales, along with behavioral analysis, reveals the dynamic processes through which our entire organism adapts to an ever-changing environment
